Lodde Typewriter Co. was establishedin San Antonio, TX in 1951. The founders of the firm were Arthur
Lodde and Doris Lodde.  In the beginning, the firm handled mostly service of office equipment and
school machines, but as time went by the sales end of the business began to increase.  By 1965 the firm
had outgrown its office and a new location was established. By 1975 Lodde Typewriter Company had
again out grown its office space and at that time a new building was constructed at it's present location
of 6728 San Pedro.  In 1977 the business had again expandedand a warehouse was added to the back
ofthe building giving it an extra 1000 squarefeet of space. In January 1978, Lodde Typewriter company
took on CPT word process equipment.  By November 1979, the word processing division had increased
to a point that additional office space was needed.  It was then decided that the company should take
the word processing part of the business and separate it from the typewriter company.  a new firm of
Lodde Business Systems had again out grown it's office space.  A new location was established giving the
firm 6000 square feet of space.  As of Jan 1999, Lodde Typewriter Co. is still located at 6728 San  Pedro
and specializes in Printers, Facsimiles, Multi-function machines, PC Copiers. As of October 2004, Lodde
Typewriter has changed it's name to Lodde Business Systems.  We now offer Plotters, Office Supplies
and more.
